Fanbase Africa Announces Pivot to Serve Christian Musicians and Communities Across Africa and the World

MERCHBASE Africa bulk production and marketplace (shopmerchbase.com) services to close and realign expertise gained over 15 years in ecommerce into new calling

Fanbase Africa (Pty) Ltd today announced a complete pivot to serve Christian musicians, churches, and faith-based communities and organizations across Africa and the world, operating alongside its direct-to-consumer music platform, ENKORE Music Africa.

As part of this shift, MERCHBASE® Africa, the registered merchandise brand operating under Fanbase Africa since 2019, will close its bulk production and marketplace (shopmerchbase.com) services. Outstanding orders, necessary refunds, and existing signed contracts will be fully wrapped up by the end of June 2026.

"We aren't disappearing, we're using everything we've learned since 2012 with ZAXL Online to fulfil a new calling," said Jermaine Charles, Managing Director and co-founder of Fanbase Africa.

"We've been given a new direction, and we're excited to build a platform that serves the Christian community across Africa and the world."

Fanbase Africa is inviting new and established Christian musicians of all genres, gospel, hip hop, Afro House, Amapiano, and beyond, to join the ENKORE Music Africa platform.
